Sousou no Frieren
After a ten-year quest with the hero Himmel and their companions, the mage Frieren defeats the Demon King and peace returns to the world. An elf who lives for over a thousand years, Frieren parts ways with a promise to meet again and sets off alone. Fifty years later, she visits Himmel—only to find that while she hasn’t changed, he has grown old and has little time left. Witnessing his passing, Frieren realizes how little she understood humans. Filled with regret, she begins a new journey to learn what it means to live—and to truly know people—meeting all kinds of travelers and stories along the way.
